Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This full-time onsite role focuses on equipment installation, commissioning, circuit turn-up, and testing across Ethernet, IP, and transport networks.

• Knowledge of telecom equipment (e.g., Cisco, Ciena) and how network devices operate.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.
• Associate's degree or technical field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment and perform circuit/node turn-up and testing.
• Manage customer premise equipment and transport/IP network testing/troubleshooting.
• Participate in on-call duties and coordinate with customers, technicians and support.
• Read and interpret engineering documents and operate advanced test sets as needed.
