Job summary

Segra is seeking a qualified Field Service Engineer in Greensboro, NC to join our on-site team. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning, turn-up and testing of telecom equipment, and for supporting transport and IP/data networks.

The role requires at least 2 years with telecom gear (Cisco/Ciena), and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. On-call duties and collaboration with customers, service technicians and support personnel are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of telecom equipment (e.g., Cisco, Ciena).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with telecom equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of telecom equipment.
• Turn-up and testing of circuits/nodes; perform on-call duties as required.
