Job summary

Segra in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to manage day-to-day network activities, including equipment installation, commissioning, circuit turn-up, testing, and on-site support. The role requires working onsite five days a week and coordinating with customers and internal teams.

You should have hands-on telecom equipment experience (e.g., Cisco, Ciena) and at least two years in field service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Telecom equipment (ex.- Cisco, Ciena, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Telecom equipment

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment on customer premises
• Perform circuit/node turn-up and testing
• Handle testing/troubleshooting for transport, switching and IP/Data networks
• Work on-call as required
• Interact with customers and field technicians
