Job summary

IMS Nanofabrication seeks a Field Service Engineer II in Hillsboro, OR, to support multi-beam mask writers and customer sites. The role emphasizes on-site presence, rapid issue resolution, and hands-on maintenance in a fast-growing team.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-precision equipment, collaborate with global teams, and communicate effectively with customers and headquarters. Experience with metrology or lithography equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 2-5+ years of Field Service experience.
• At least 3-5 years of customer-facing experience and strong communication.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and global collaboration.
• Interest in fast-paced, fast-growing environment.
• Background in metrology or lithography equipment.
• Troubleshooting experience with ultra-high vacuum systems.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX server administration.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a growing team of Field Service Engineers in Hillsboro, OR.
• Install, perform annual preventive maintenance, and resolve issues on Multi-beam mask writers.
• Adhere to IMS methodologies and provide feedback for improvements.
• Join special task forces addressing escalations and communicate with customers and HQ.
• Maintain and build strong relationships with local Tool Owners and stakeholders.
• Attend fab-related customer meetings to update on issue resolution and PM activities.
