Job summary

IMS Nanofabrication is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to support Hillsboro operations and travel to customer sites. The role emphasizes installation, maintenance, and rapid problem solving for our cutting-edge mask writers, with collaboration across engineering teams and headquarters.

You will work in a high-accountability environment, mentoring from senior staff and engaging directly with customers in person at the Hillsboro office and on-site locations in the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science in an engineering discipline or related STEM field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to bridge theory with hands-on troubleshooting.
• 1+ years of technical field service or hands-on operational system experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, perform annual preventive maintenance and address issues on multi-beam mask writers.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide clear technical updates to customers and HQ.
• Attend fab-related customer meetings and work daily at customer sites with IMS US leadership.
