Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will cover the Cleveland area providing installation and maintenance services to voice and data networks, servers, and retail tech systems.

The role includes a training program, company vehicle, travel to customer sites, and after-hours on-call as needed. Strong problem-solving and climbing capability are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling and PBX certifications are a plus.
• Selected candidates will attend hardware and cabling training in Strongsville, OH.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Install and support retail technology systems (POS, digital signage, video surveillance).
• Circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Site surveys and site audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless hardware.
• Submit job-related documents accurately and on time.
• Maintain company vehicle, inventory and tools to standards.
