Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience; 2–4 years preferred.
• Experience servicing electromechanical/chemical equipment.
• Knowledge of biochemistry or life sciences.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and repair PacBio equipment at customer locations.
• Submit timely documentation of service activities and expenses.
• Maintain accurate service spare parts inventory.
• Collaborate with sales and field specialists to meet customer expectations.
• Mentor and train new and less experienced service engineers.
• Develop and improve operating procedures and processes.
• Contribute to knowledge base to share problems and solutions.
