Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA seeks a Field Service Engineer II to support Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) by commissioning, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing systems for optimal performance.

You will train customers, coordinate service activities, and ensure reliability of installed energy storage solutions. Basic qualifications include 3+ years in field service or related power systems, PLCs/automation knowledge, and strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in Electrical Systems or related field preferred.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for customers and local service partners.
• Create commissioning, operation, maintenance, service, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Coordinate commissioning activities for installed BESS projects.
• Support and administer O&M agreements and service plans.
• Interface with customers, system operators, and service partners.
