LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a Contract Field Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related equipment at remote sites, under the supervision of a Field Service Engineer.

This hands-on role involves outdoor work and potential travel to regional sites. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, documentation skills, and the ability to operate maintenance software and tools, with a

Qualifications

Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to follow documented work instructions.
Basic electrical fundamentals and use of test equipment.
Basic computer skills – Windows/Office.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on BESS, inverters, and fire suppression systems.
Identify and report quality issues.
Troubleshoot systems and replace components as needed.
Operate heavy equipment and perform heavy lifting.
Work safely on ladders and elevated platforms.
Conduct routine maintenance including software/firmware updates and data collection.
Interface with computer systems and HMI on BESS.
Adhere to safety protocols and seek guidance when unsure.
Collaborate in a team and learn new technologies.
