Job summary

LG Energy Solution Vertech, Inc. is seeking a BESS Field Service Engineer to perform field service activities on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and related equipment from installation through warranty and long‑term O&M support.

This hands‑on role interfaces with site teams, customers, and subcontractors to ensure safe, high‑quality service delivery. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of electrical/power or EPC/O&M experience, strong troubleshooting, and ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

2–5 years of electrical, power, EPC, or O&M experience.
Experience with BESS, PCS, EMS, or renewable energy systems is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 50% and work off-hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Own site availability and SLAs during service activities with safe execution and proper documentation.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS and ancillary equipment per procedures.
Support troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacement with guidance from senior staff.
Assist with software/firmware upgrades and routine system checks.
Document work performed, observations, and findings in service tools.
Coordinate readiness for long‑term O&M transition at sites.
