Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a field service engineer to install and set up ALD/CVD equipment at customer sites in the United States, with emphasis on reliability and performance. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate with engineering teams for root-cause analysis.

You will train customer personnel, maintain logs, and ensure safety and quality standards while traveling to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in semiconductor equipment industry.
• Experience in field service, maintenance or technical support of semiconductor equipment.
• Experience in ALD and CVD tools (equivalent).
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support of ALD and CVD tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and systems.
• Proficiency interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, robotics, or automation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• No travel restrictions domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up equipment at customers' sites.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze and improve system performance using advanced diagnostics.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Escalate complex problems to engineering when necessary.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on operation.
• Train customer personnel and colleagues as needed.
• Maintain service logs and documentation for customer interactions.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
