Job summary

McCrometer, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I for a role that blends in-office and field duties. You will provide hands-on support for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, mostly in Nebraska and nearby regions.

The position includes 20% remote work from home and up to 80% travel to customer sites. Expect occasional overnight stays and travel across the US as needed; comprehensive training and a supportive team are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills required; background in electronics or telemetry a plus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Past Field Service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone and in the field.
• Support design, installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of instrumentation during remote work.
• Travel to customer locations for installation or diagnostic/repair work, with travel and overnight stays.
