Job summary

McCrometer, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to join our team in Nebraska. The role combines remote support 20% of the time with hands-on field work 80% in Southern Nebraska, including McCook, Alma, Holdredge and Imperial.

You will provide technical support, installation, maintenance and repair of instrumentation, travel to customer sites, and work with a supportive team. A strong customer service orientation and mechanical/Electronics aptitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and/or experience required; electronics or telemetry background is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone and in the field.
• Travel to customer locations for installation, maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work (80% travel).
• Support occasional overnight stays and work with company-approved hotels when traveling.
