Job summary

McCrometer, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Engineer I to support customers with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of our flow instrumentation. The role includes 20% remote work and 80% field travel across Southern Nebraska, including McCook, Alma, Holdredge and Imperial.

Expect occasional overnight travel and a strong emphasis on customer service and safety. Qualified candidates will have mechanical skills, a valid driver’s license and a proven track record in customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and/or experience is a must – we especially want to hear from you if your background also includes electronics or telemetry!
• Strong customer service skills.
• You have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone and in the field.
• Travel to customer locations (80% field work) in Nebraska, with 20% remote work from home.
• Coordinate installations, maintenance, repair, and operation support for instrumentation.
