Job summary

McCrometer is seeking a full time Field Service Engineer I to join our team. This role is anticipated to be 20% remote/work-from-home with 80% field work across Southern Nebraska (McCook, Alma, Holdredge, Imperial).

Occasional travel out-of-state may be required. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers by phone and in the field, install/diagnose/repair instrumentation, and travel to customer locations with home-based work days and overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Mechanical skills; electronics/telemetry experience welcome.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone and in the field.
• Travel to customer sites (80% field, 20% remote) to install, diagnose, and repair instrumentation; coordinate with customers and teams.
• Occasional overnight travel and work from authorized hotels as needed.
