Job summary

McCrometer is seeking a Field Service Engineer I to join our team in a role that blends remote work and extensive field travel across Southern Nebraska. The position offers hands-on instrumentation support, comprehensive training, and opportunities to grow within Veralto’s global network.

Responsibilities include on-site installation, maintenance, and repair, plus remote troubleshooting by phone. Travel may be required to ensure client satisfaction and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and/or experience is a must – background may include electronics or telemetry
• Strong customer service skills
• You have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers over the phone and in the field
• When working from home (20%), support design/installation/maintenance/repair remotely
• Travel to customer locations (80%), provide hands-on installation or diagnostic/repair work
