Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician I to provide field support, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and retrofits of mechanical and electrical systems on projects in Houston, TX.

The role requires interfacing with QA, project engineers, and client personnel, with cross-training in controls and electrical systems. The technician will compile O&M information, support QA/QC, and oversee QC checks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading drawings and schematics.
• MS Office Suite including Project experience.
• Exposure to at least one brand of PLC or building controls.
• Ability to work independently at the job site.

Responsibilities

• Compile O&M information and transmit key O&M data.
• Assist in finalizing IOM manuals sets.
• Direct field commissioning of mechanical and electrical portions.
• Collaborate with QA, project engineers, and client personnel.
• Create legible red-line drawings for project managers.
• Support QA/QC functions and field feedback.

HVAC trade school or apprenticeship
