Job summary

TAS Energy Inc, a Houston-based company, seeks a Field Service Technician I to support clients in commissioning, troubleshooting, and retrofits of mechanical and electrical systems. The role interfaces with Quality, Project Engineers, and client personnel. Travel to job sites worldwide is required.

Qualified candidates will troubleshoot control systems and power equipment, compile O&M info, and assist in QC, IOM manual curations, and field training. HVAC trade training preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and project tools.
• Exposure to PLCs or building controls.
• Ability to work independently at the job site.

Responsibilities

• Compile O&M information and transmit critical data.
• Oversee final IOM manual sets and QC checks as needed.
• Direct field commissioning of mechanical portions of projects.
• Collaborate with project engineers, QA, and client personnel.
• Travel extensively to domestic and international job sites.
