Job summary

TAS Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician II to support commissioning, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems at client sites. You will coordinate with project engineers, QA and QA staff while visiting domestic and international job sites.

The role demands hands-on field work and strong documentation of procedures. Applicants should have HVAC trade schooling or apprenticeship training, with willingness to travel up to 80% and work in field construction

Qualifications

• Read drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Exposure to at least one brand of PLC or building controls.

Responsibilities

• Compile O&M information and transmit critical O&M data during projects.
• Direct field commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment and controls.
• Create legible red-line drawings for submission to Project Manager.
• Assist QA/QC functions and participate in field quality checks.
• Startup, preventive maintenance, and service of pumps, cooling towers, chillers and drives.
• Interface with project engineers, managers, and client personnel.
