Job summary

TAS Energy, based in Houston, TX, seeks a Field Service Technician III to support commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and retrofits of mechanical and electrical systems on projects. You will interface with QA, project engineers, and client personnel to ensure successful field commissioning and O&M documentation.

The role requires extensive travel (domestic and international) and hands-on work with pumps, cooling towers, and VFDs, while ensuring safety and QA standards on site.

Qualifications

• Significant field experience in startup, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Startup, preventive maintenance, and service of mechanical and electrical systems including pumps, cooling towers, centrifugal chillers.
• Install and repair power distribution and motor control centers; troubleshoot VFDs.
• Coordinate with project engineers and QA to ensure field commissioning meets design specs.
