Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician III to provide hands-on field support for commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and retrofit of mechanical and electrical systems on projects.

You will interface with QA, project engineers, and client personnel to ensure successful startup and operation. The role requires extensive travel (80%), both domestic and international, and hands-on installation, commissioning, and documentation of O&M data.

Qualifications

• Reads drawings and schematics to support field work.
• Travels extensively domestically and internationally to job sites.
• Experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) startup and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently at field locations.
• Experience with verification against codes and standards (ASHRAE/ASME).

Responsibilities

• Startup, maintenance, and service of pumps and cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot VFDs and building controls.
• Install/repair power distribution and motor control centers.
• Compile O&M information and transmit critical data.
• Oversee field commissioning and QA/QC tasks.
• Travel to domestic and international project sites.
