Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking an instrumentation specialist to maintain and qualify HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and implement improvements while supporting customers and internal teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field with 3+ years of instrument experience, strong metrology knowledge, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years instrument experience.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC/GC/IC systems is required.
• Knowledge of metrology standards and calibration practices.
• Preference for experience with Agilent/Waters LC/UPLC or Thermo IC instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, diagnosis and repairs for HPLC/UPLC/GC/IC systems.
• Calibrate and qualify instrumentation and implement improvements.
• Interface with customers/staff to explain troubleshooting results and solutions.
• Source supplies and manage repair parts to ensure inventory.
