Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking a qualified technician to maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, and IC systems. You will calibrate equipment, implement improvements, and coordinate parts to ensure reliable operations for customers in the Indianapolis area.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have 3+ years of instrument experience, with knowledge of metrology standards and experience with LC/UPLC systems preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or a closely related field; 3+ years analytical instrument experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with HPLC/UPLC, GC and IC systems; metrology principles.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues.
• Familiarity with Agilent/Waters and Thermo instruments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses and repairs HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems.
• Calibrates and qualifications of analytical instruments.
• Implements improvements to instrumentation and processes.
• Coordinates parts and supplies for instrument upkeep.
• Travels up to 15% as needed.
