Job summary

Pace Analytical seeks a skilled professional to execute and oversee maintenance, repair, and qualification testing of HPLC, UPLC, and IC instruments.

The candidate will provide expert troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation, collaborating with customers and staff to ensure compliant, high‑quality operations. Overnight travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or closely related field with 5+ years instrument troubleshooting/repair experience.
• Experience with HPLC, UPLC and IC instrumentation and metrology standards.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex instrumentation issues.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced to expert maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs of HPLC, UPLC, and IC.
• Performs calibration and qualification of HPLC, UPLC, and IC.
• Drafts and revises SOPs, calibration procedures, and qualification protocols.
• Interacts with customers/staff to communicate troubleshooting results and solutions.
