Job summary

Pace Analytical in Columbus, OH is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to maintain, diagnose, repair and qualify HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems, providing technical guidance to customers and staff.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or related field and at least 3 years of analytical instrument experience; travel up to 15% is required. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or closely related field with at least 3 years of analytical instrument experience.
• Knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/GC/IC systems and metrology standards.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses and repairs HPLC, UPLC, GC and IC systems.
• Performs calibration and qualification of analytical instruments.
• Recommends improvements and sources supplies and parts as needed.
• Interacts with customers to explain troubleshooting results and solutions.
