Job summary

Pace Analytical Services in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to execute and oversee maintenance, repair, and qualification testing of analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, UPLC, and IC, ensuring accurate calibration and compliance.

You will provide troubleshooting guidance, write SOPs and protocols, collaborate across teams, and support customers with expert instrument knowledge.

Qualifications

5+ years instrument troubleshooting and repair experience.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or related field.
Knowledge of HPLC/UPLC/IC and metrology standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced maintenance and repair of HPLC, UPLC, IC.
Calibrate and qualify HPLC/UPLC/IC systems.
Recommend improvements to instrumentation.
Source parts and manage consumables inventory.
Provide expert instrument support to customers and staff.
Draft SOPs and calibration/qualification protocols.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects.
Maintain equipment databases and QA.
