Job summary

Pace Analytical is seeking an instrumentation specialist in Massachusetts to execute maintenance, calibration, and qualification of instrumentation, hardware, and software using advanced technical knowledge.

You will diagnose complex issues, calibrate instruments, draft SOPs, and implement improvements while coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, electronics, or related field with 5 years instrument troubleshooting/repair.
• Expertise with analytical instrumentation and metrology standards.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex instrument systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and equipment.
• Calibrate and qualify instruments and systems.
• Propose improvements to instrument, equipment or systems.
• Prepare and update SOPs, calibration procedures, and qualification protocols.
• Collaborate with customers and staff to provide instrument support.
