We are seeking Field Service Engineers to support nationwide customers.

Must be willing to travel to Japan 1-3 months after hire date to participate in a 2-year training program.

The Mission of a Field Service Engineer is to install, modify and service complex semiconductor industry high vacuum equipment and systems, as well as evaluate, troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to such installations and servicing of Company products at all types of customer field sites. The role also involves providing a wide range of technical assistance to customers and employees to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of work goals.

What You'll Do

• Perform hands-on field service duties at customer sites, including installations, upgrades, retrofits, diagnosis, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Recommend equipment modifications or improvements to enhance operation and performance.
• Submit all necessary documentation promptly and adhere to company policies.
• Maintain technical proficiency and troubleshooting skills, including ongoing education.
• Train less-experienced engineers.
• Handle customer service issues to ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain good relations.
