Job summary

Putzmeister America, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative for the Rialto, CA region to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

You will lead field interventions, perform troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, and train customers and agents in proper operation and repair techniques. Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, commissioning of new equipment, and providing timely field reports.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• 5–10 years of technical experience.
• Travel 75%+

Responsibilities

• Manage time and territory to provide timely resolution of customers’ equipment problems in the field.
• Travel to customer locations, often on short notice, to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and related issues.
• Communicate repairs, production issues, product quality, or customer concerns professionally.
• Provide in-service or commissioning of new equipment at customer locations; complete handover documentation.
• Provide technical training on machine operation and troubleshooting to customers/agents in the field.
• Provide technical support to the agent/customer via multiple channels and manage warranty/goodwill issues.
• Coordinate inspections and welding repairs for customers and document records.
• Promote Authorized Service Centers to customers for repair work and parts purchases.
• Assist in evaluating potential Service Centers and measure against PM standards.
• Prepare timely field service reports and file weekly.
• Stay updated on industry technology and pumping applications.
• Perform any additional duties as required.
