Franklin Electric is seeking a technical trainer in the Northeast US, based in Rhode Island. You will schedule and deliver training to distributors, contractors, and installers, test products, and demonstrate capabilities at events.

Travel up to 70% with occasional overnight stays, supporting engineering and product teams across the region. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in water systems or related industries, with strong communication and reporting skills to drive customer

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related water systems or industry experience (pref.).
• Bachelor's degree in Eng/Bus/CompTech or related field (required).
• Travels 70% of the time, up to 50% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.
• Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products; supervises and assists at installations.
• Promotes Franklin Electric products at tradeshows and events; conducts product demonstrations as needed.
• Collects and reports marketing information on competitors, distribution, personnel changes, and customer needs.
• Writes and submits weekly and special reports highlighting site or product issues.
• Interprets complex technical instructions and variables.
• Communicates information effectively in person and in small group settings.
