Job summary

ASM is seeking a field service engineer to install and support hardware at customer sites, ensuring timely, accurate technical information and effective follow-up with stakeholders. The role requires frequent travel (about 25–50%), a valid driver's license, and shift/on-call work.

No prior experience is required, but related internships are a plus. The actual job grade will depend on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• No prior experience required, internships or related hands-on work are a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, or automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics and engineering diagrams.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting software.
• Customer-focused, able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.

• Install and support hardware on-site to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain relevance and accuracy of technical information shared with stakeholders.
• Communicate with customers via telephone, email and presentations for follow-up.
