Job summary

Provisur is a global leader in precision-engineered food processing equipment and services. The Technical Service Specialist provides expert technical support and coordinates repairs, installations, and documentation while traveling as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Candidates will have 3+ years in technical service, a high school diploma (technical degree preferred), and strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics domains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical service experience in food processing or industrial equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Windows, Outlook; Salesforce/PeopleSoft preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Basic electrical and machine shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily and after-hours technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians via phone, email, on-call rotation.
• Serve as a key customer contact for Provisur service matters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely, with proper escalation.
• Coordinate equipment installations, service schedules, manpower, and Emergency Service Visits.
• Review service reports, identify issues, coordinate follow-up, and assist with travel planning.
• Engage Engineering and other technical resources to resolve complex issues.
• Manage warranty issues and support maintenance agreements.
• Advocate for customers when issues require internal attention.
• Recommend and process spare parts orders to improve uptime.
• Provide commercial and technical support for assigned customers.
