Job summary

Provisur Technologies Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Specialist to provide technical expertise and customer support for Provisur products, coordinating repairs, troubleshooting, service calls, installations, and documentation. Travel is required as needed.

The role involves serving as a primary customer contact for service matters, diagnosing complex issues remotely, coordinating installations, and engaging cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service and uptime.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical service/support experience, preferably in food processing or industrial equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or related apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Outlook; PeopleSoft/Salesforce experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily and after-hours technical support to customers and Field Service Technicians via phone, email, and on-call rotation.
• Serve as a key customer contact for Provisur service matters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues remotely, ensuring proper escalation and follow-through on challenging service matters.
• Coordinate equipment installations, service schedules, manpower, and Emergency Service Visits in collaboration with customers, FSTs, and internal teams.
• Review service reports, identify outstanding issues, coordinate follow-up, and assist with planning FST travel and assignments.
• Engage Engineering and other technical resources to resolve complex equipment and application issues.
• Manage warranty issues and provide technical support for maintenance agreements and PPP programs.
• Serve as a technical expert on Provisur equipment and advocate for customers when ongoing equipment issues require internal attention.
• Recommend and process spare parts orders to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
• Provide commercial and technical support for assigned customers.
