Job summary

Eaton is seeking a field service engineer in the United States to work on electrical power distribution equipment. You will deliver technical solutions to customers, perform engineering assignments, and contribute to project outcomes with hands‑on field experience.

The role provides structured training, a company vehicle, tuition assistance, and opportunities across multiple service branches. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August of 2027
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.8
• At least one internship/co‑op or 3 months of technician/maintenance experience
• No immigration sponsorship; SSS CPT/OPT/STEM OPT not supported
• Must be geographically flexible to relocate within the United States
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform complex engineering assignments that may involve design, testing, or research
• Display proficiency in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, and power quality measurements
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
