Job summary

Durst Image Technology US seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and support Durst products across North America. You will train customers, repair equipment, and ensure high uptime while managing parts, travel, and documentation.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, effective communication, and a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, including overnight trips across the USA & Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience in printing or related industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and good dexterity
• Proficient computer skills
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (or more during training), mostly overnight travel USA & Canada
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Install Durst products and services in a timely, cost-effective manner
• Provide initial operator/maintenance training as required
• Maximize equipment uptime through effective repair and maintenance
• Manage assets and resources to achieve financial goals
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales and service teams
• Complete all job-related administration on time and accurately
