Durst Image Technology US is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair Durst products across North America. The role emphasizes high customer satisfaction, timely responses, and professional on-site presence.

You will train customers, maximize uptime, and manage resources while traveling up to 75% of the time, including overnight travel across the USA and Canada. A strong mechanical background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent communication and outstanding customer service skills.
• Proficient computer usage for diagnostics, reporting and parts lookup.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, mostly overnight within USA & Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely installation of Durst products and services.
• Conduct operator and maintenance training for customers as required.
• Maximize equipment uptime through prompt repairs and maintenance.
• Efficiently manage parts, tools, travel and expenses to meet financial targets.
• Communicate professionally with customers, sales and service teams at all times.
• Complete all call reports, parts returns and time/expense documentation accurately.
