Job summary

Eaton’s Early Talent Development Program places you in a Field Service Engineering track focused on electrical power distribution. You will work with senior engineers on real projects across customer sites, gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, and system protection.

The program combines structured training with on-the-job mentoring, preparing you for technical leadership roles. Travel and cross-branch exposure are integral parts of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, with graduation date before August of 2027

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment
• Deliver technical solutions to customers
• Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, process studies, or research investigations
• Display proficiency in Test Equipment Operation, Troubleshooting Techniques, Protective Relays, Power Quality Measurements, Disaster Recovery, Rotating Machinery, Protection & Control Design
• Generate timely and accurate service reports on work, product performance, and warranties
