Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced professional to provide customer technical support for Applied Technology products. You will collaborate with engineering to gain product expertise, participate in briefings, demonstrations, and trainings, and translate customer needs into new product requirements.

Travel up to 25-50% is described, with a focus on supporting government customers and events. A Secret clearance is preferred, and prior DoD or civil government experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 10+ years experience and substantial knowledge of the U.S. defense industry (military and/or civilian).
• Must be able to travel on a frequent basis (5-15 days per month).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer briefings and conduct product demonstrations.
• Provide training on Applied Technology products for existing and potential customers.
• Support tradeshows and product evaluation events.
• Provide test/trial support of products in development to give early feedback.
• Interpret customer needs into new features and product offerings through collaboration with business and engineering teams.
• Develop and nurture relationships to promote Applied Technology products and capabilities to new government customers.
• Partner with Business Development to create capture strategies to grow the business.
