Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Schaumburg, IL seeks an experienced professional to provide customer technical support for Applied Technology products. You will work with engineering to gain product expertise and deliver customer feedback to influence future product roadmaps.

Your role includes conducting briefings, demonstrations, and training for customers, supporting tradeshows and evaluations, and translating customer needs into feature requests with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 10+ years in U.S. defense industry.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Willingness to travel 5–15 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer briefings and conduct product demonstrations.
• Provide training on Applied Technology products for existing and potential customers.
• Support tradeshows and product evaluation events.
• Provide test/trial support of products in development to provide early feedback.
• Interpret customer needs into new features and product requirements with engineering teams.
• Develop and nurture relationships to promote Applied Technology products to government customers.
• Partner with Business Development to create capture strategies to grow the business.
