Job description

Evertz, a growing high-technology company with over 1,700 employees, is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of broadcast, film production, and post-production equipment for the film, television broadcast, and professional audio & video industry.

We are currently looking for recent graduates to join our AV Service team. As the first and often the most frequent point of contact for our clients, you will have the opportunity to influence the client's perception of Evertz. This position combines technical skills and customer service, working with exciting products both in-house and on-site at customer facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel within the US for customer deployments and service
  • Install products and systems at customer sites; provide product training
  • Respond to operational issues, firmware upgrades, and maintenance inquiries
  • Assess applications, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues to find root causes
  • Conduct detailed troubleshooting, data collection, and reporting
  • Coordinate between customer service and other departments, relay customer feedback

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer disciplines
  • Passion for technology and learning new hardware/software
  • Experience with IP Networking, server hardware, Linux OS
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligible for US and Canada travel; US Citizenship required

Location: Remote work possible in any US state
