Job summary

Intellectt Inc. seeks an Analytical Instrument Service Engineer for an onsite contract role in Lake County, IL.

You will install, calibrate, maintain, and repair analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, and mass spectrometry systems, with emphasis on documentation and regulatory compliance. You will perform preventive maintenance, system qualification with NIST-traceable standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure instrument reliability while supporting travel to client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in chemistry/analytical fields preferred; or 5+ years directly relevant experience with an associate/GED.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation maintenance, calibration, repair, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair analytical lab instrumentation (HPLC, GC, MS).
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
