Job summary

RNInk in Davenport, IA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers and robotic instrumentation. The role requires electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting expertise and overnight travel, with a minimum of 3 years in field service.

Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or similar instrumentation is a plus, and the candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Qualifications

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer

Responsibilities

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater DAVENPORT, IA. Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.
