Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Memphis, TN is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain advanced medical lab analyzers. The role requires strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, and will involve overnight travel to client sites within the greater MEMPHIS area.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years in field service engineering and ideally experience with medical laboratory instrumentation. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline.
• Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Overnight travel is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a solid customer-relations foundation during visits.
• Coordinate issue resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain vehicle inventory including tools and parts.
• Provide basic on-site training on company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TNarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.


• Establish a good customer relations foundation.

• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.


• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
