Job summary

KLA Industries in MEMPHIS, TN is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain hematology and chemistry analyzers in a hospital or lab setting.

The role requires electronics/electro-mechanical troubleshooting expertise, at least 3 years in field service, and willingness to travel overnight within the greater MEMPHIS area. A COVID-19 vaccination is required, and a Company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics required.
• At least 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
• Overnight travel required.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation.

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TNarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
