Job summary

True North Consultants, Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a field service engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers and automated lab instrumentation.

The role requires a solid electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting background, and overnight travel will be necessary. You will install, service, and perform preventive maintenance, establish strong customer relations, coordinate with the Field Support Group, and manage basic on-site training.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
• 3+ years of field service experience.
• Oversnight travel required.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• Residence within the greater MEMPHIS, TN area is required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a strong customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory including tools and spare parts.
• Provide basic on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater MEMPHIS, TN area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater MEMPHIS, TNarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.


• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.


• Overnight travel will be required


• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer


• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.


• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Base salary 65K - 85K depending on experience (overtime & performance bonus should add an additional 4K - 8K annually, probably more.).
