Leoforce is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer to diagnose, repair and maintain semiconductor process equipment at customer sites in the Portland, OR area. The role involves hands-on work with optics, electronics and electro-mechanical systems, with extensive field time in cleanrooms and customer facilities.

New grads are welcome; the company provides semiconductor process training and a path to certification, with local site support in Hillsboro and Beaverton.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (entry level) or Master’s with 0 years experience
• Aptitude for troubleshooting electronics, optics, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems and networking
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and under pressure during equipment-down situations
• Strong communication skills
• Local to or willing to relocate to the Portland, OR area

Responsabilidades

Job Description

Experience: Entry Level

Salary: $28 - $43 per hour

What you'll do:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues on site, by phone or remotely, working with factory engineering teams
• Repair and modify systems at customer fabs - board-level and system-level
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with tool installations, startups and relocations
• Help keep customer production running, including flagging unsafe conditions
• Write field service reports and document recurring issues
• Use test equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes and flow meters

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering (new grad), or a Master's with 0 years of experience; an associate's degree or military technical training with relevant experience is also considered
• Aptitude for troubleshooting electronics, optics, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems and networking
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom and under pressure during equipment-down situations
• Strong communication skills
• Local to or willing to relocate to the Portland, OR area
