Job summary

A leading technology manufacturing company in Dallas is seeking a qualified technician to be responsible for the service and maintenance of ion beam based manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate should have a BS degree in Engineering or Physics, experience with manufacturing equipment, and good problem-solving skills. This role includes installing and upgrading systems, diagnosing issues, and training customers. Flexible work from home options are available, along with a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Willingness to travel 30 – 50%.
• Familiarity with ion beam or plasma-based process manufacturing equipment.

Job Duties

• Responsible for service and maintenance of ion beam based manufacturing equipment, including:
• • Install new systems
  • Upgrade existing systems
  • Diagnose problems and repair equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and warranty support
  • Train customers in machine usage and maintenance.

• Experience working in semiconductor or optics fabricators with ion beam or plasma based process manufacturing equipment such as IBE, RIE, IBD, PVD, CVD, etc.
• Familiarity with

• Electrical controls, PLC’s,
• PC’s, RAID systems, SQL databases, SECS/GEM interface
