Job summary

Insight Global seeks an on-site service technician to maintain and repair semiconductor processing equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, document findings, and coordinate with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include ordering parts, responding to emergencies, training customer operators, and performing upgrades. Stay current with manuals and training; maintain company property and tools.

Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance. Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed. Remain current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials. Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.

Job description

• 2 years of experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Associates degree in Electronics or Engineering highly preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
• Experience supporting semiconductor equipment preferably lithography
• Military experience in the following MOS':
• Load Master

$25/hr to $29/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
