Job summary

Shellback Semiconductor Technology, LLC seeks a Field Installation and Maintenance technician to install and repair track equipment at customer sites and home factories. You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild components, and assist with startup at customer locations.

The role requires travel up to 70% and the ability to read electrical/fluid diagrams, work in a clean room, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-year electronics technical training or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read electrical and fluid diagrams.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined areas.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair track equipment at local and remote sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures as required.
• Rebuild component modules; test for functionality and assist with system start up at customer and home factory locations.
• Assist with customer source inspections at home factory or customer locations.
• Recommend equipment improvements or design changes based on personal observations, factory, customer, and rep input.
• Travel as required to perform installations, source inspections and repair of equipment. Travel could be as much as 70% of the time and may require travel across weekends.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Keep up-to-date on engineering changes and new developments in the industry.
• Submit all reports including expenses in a timely manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and complete assigned documentation.
• Work in a team atmosphere.
• Maintain an up-to-date passport
• Duties require occasional lifting of track equipment and components up to 50 pounds, use of hand tools in confined areas, and standing or working in a prone position for prolonged periods of time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2-years direct installation, maintenance and repair of TEL Mark / ACT and SVG track equipment or equivalent field-related experience

Education:

• Minimum of 2-year electronics technical school diploma or equivalent industry experience
