Job summary

SHELLBACK Semiconductor Technology seeks a Field Service Technician to install and repair track equipment at customer sites and home factory locations. You will perform preventive maintenance and rebuild modules, ensuring system startup and functionality.

You will also assist with inspections, recommend improvements, and travel up to 70% (weekends possible) to service installations and repairs. A 2-year electronics diploma or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

  • 2-year electronics technical school diploma or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2-years direct installation, maintenance and repair of TEL Mark / ACT and SVG track equipment or equivalent field-related experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% (including weekends) to perform installations, inspections and repairs.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Keep up-to-date on engineering changes and new developments in the industry.
  • Submit all reports including expenses in a timely manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and complete assigned documentation.
  • Work in a team atmosphere.
  • Maintain an up-to-date passport
  • Duties require occasional lifting of track equipment and components up to 50 pounds, use of hand tools in confined areas, and standing or working in a prone position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
